Cult of the Lamb

Cult of the Lam is a roguelike game where you build up a following by recruiting “lost” creature and destroying the heresies that oppose you. As you build up your following, you gain abilities and upgrades to increase your power to defeat strong enemies and bosses. I was skeptical about his game at first. I knew that this game would get dark despite its cute appearance since it involves building a cult through indoctrination and to manipulate the following. But I found myself enjoying the game more than I thought. I thought of these controllers based on some factors in the game such as the weapons and overall feel of the game. Some of these can make the player feel more like a “cult leader” while playing the game. When making a controller for this game, I need to consider all the mechanics within this game. Does it feel like these controllers can accomplish all mechanics? Would it be possible for each individual figure in the Claw controller to have separate functions?

Cuphead

Cuphead is a run and gun boss rush game where you made a deal with the devil and now must collect soul contracts from various bosses. It is a rather difficult game because each boss will throw a lot at the player and will stop at nothing until you are dead. One of the many things that I admire about this game is not only the unique 1930s style, but the music is memorable and catchy. I picture these controllers can put the player in Cuphead’s position with using what he can to defeat each boss. Given the context of Cuphead, do these controllers feel too “on the nose”? I do also wonder if these controllers are playable enough for the player to beat some of the more difficult bosses. What do you think?
