Scaffolding: Concept Review

Game 1: Portal

https://store.steampowered.com/app/400/Portal/

I chose Portal for this project since it is a game that I enjoy and granted that it has a puzzle nature to it, it would be great to have some of the objects that you interact with in the game as controllers. Because Portal has no timers or enemies actively attacking you, you are free to explore the controls and mechanics of how the game works. The first choice that came to mind immediately was the portal gun from then on I looked at other objects that you carry in the game by using the accelerometer, switches, and light and color sensors you can bind things like the portals to certain colors. For peer reviewers, I would like to ask if there may be a simpler way to have both aim inputs and movement inputs.

Game 2: Inside

https://playdead.com/games/inside/

For my second game, I chose Inside as it is an immersive puzzle game where the game relies on its presentation and atmosphere. To complement the game, I decided to make controllers from items in the game, by representing items the player interacts with.  The goal of these controllers is to further immerse the player by giving them a physical representation to connect to the main character. For peer review, I ask would these controllers pull you more into the game and can they be done in a simple and efficient manner.
