Scaffolding: Concept Review (AZ) Moto X3m and Tennis Masters

Alex Zondervan

The games I have chosen to focus on are Moto X3M and Tennis Masters. I chose these games because they are simple free-to-play flash games that anyone can play without downloading anything. They are both also controlled exclusively by keyboard inputs.

These first ideas are for Tennis Masters. I believe this game would benefit from an alternative controller because it is a sports game. It makes sense that a sports game would use motion controls. One of these controllers might even get you to exercise, adding a secondary purpose to the game.

The Second game, Moto X3M, is a classic and fun flash game that almost everybody played in school when I was growing up. The game has you pulling off death-defying jumps as you try to reach the finish line. What better way to control a motorbike than with actual handlebars? Having something physical to manipulate could really make you feel like you are in control of the bike.

Which design do you think would be the most practical? Which one sparks the most intrigue? and which one would be the most feasible to build? How could I improve on one of these ideas?
