Concept Review: Austin Frunk and Brayan Soto

The game we chose was the original Doom game. After concepting and thinking about the amount of inputs required between our other desired game of Portal. We found doom would be best to make a controller for the project. Me and Austin both have a love for shooters and the notorious concept of being able to run doom on anything begs the creative question of what can we make for the game which you can run on anything? The core mechanics of the game including, firing, swapping between weapons, left and right movement with no input for a y-axis. There is also an interact button as well. It is simple because it gives you the feeling of a first person shooter but doesn't have a lot of the "complicated" controls of a modern shooter. We were motivated by the idea of a being a hardcore doom guy to pick the skull as our object of choice as we thought it was the most fitting. 

What sort of other interesting things do you think the skull could use for input?
Do you think the skull is feasible in terms of workload?
