We designed our controller to be based off the car that is in the game, The Game of Life, and tried to keep it simple to match the simplicity of the game. We will be using the Circuit Playground’s accelerometer for the mouse movements. So, depending on how the player rotates the car, is the direction the mouse will move on screen. A knob will be on the top of the car to be used for selecting and deselecting in the game. Additionally, to add more immersion, we added a speaker where it says “Spin the Wheel” when the prompt comes up in game.
