Game Controller Concepts: Going Under

The game I have decided to make my game controller for is one called Going Under, a rogue dungeon crawler about an intern sent to go hunt monsters in "Dungeons." It's a game that came out recently this year and it's one that I've grown very fond of because of the entire concept of a modern setting for a dungeon crawler, yet still maintaining the feel of a dungeon crawler with good difficulty. I believe the use of an alternative controller can make the game a lot more interesting in various ways based on the concepts I have created. I can make it more engaging/involved, more silly yet interactive, or all of the above. Each concept is inspired by something related to the game.

Controls of Going Under:

WASD: Movement
Mouse 1: Attack/ Charge Attack
Mouse 2: Aim Throw/ Throw
E: Interact
Q: Use App
X & C/Scroll: Switch Weapons
Space: Dodge

Concept #1: Joblin Sword

The Joblin sword would function like a motion controller with the accelerometer alongside swinging for attacks, however it may suffer from being too simple trying to figure out how to consider other inputs.

Concept #2: AVIE Cube

Avie is a SMART Cube in Going Under, She can have multiple uses and probably is the best concept for the idea. She could use the accelerometer to move and can be shaken for attacks. Because AVIE is a SMART Cube, it would make sense for AVIE to take in Vocal input which can be used for Interactions.

Concept #3: Aggro Crab

Based on Aggro Crab's logo/mascot and my knowledge with capacitive touch, using it for different limbs could potentially work out. However, I may scrap WASD touch inputs and use the accelerometer, using limbs for other functions may potentially prevent any bugs from shaking for attack input.
