Helltaker was a quiet and simplistic game that made a splash last year. It's also free to try! The controls are simply movement keys and I was inspired to make the controls based off the music playing, driving the player forward the entire time. It's quite catchy so I was inspired to make several designs which music can be enjoyed via vibing to the music with the actual controller, moving to the beat of the music. I almost went with Crypt of the NecroDancer, but the game was a bit more complex with its enemies. I instead settled with a puzzle game where you can move at your own pace!
