Prototype: Super Mario
For my project I have gone with a low fidelity cardboard design due to parts being late to arrive and having issues with some of the connections. The final result will be a 'Etch-A-Sketch' inspired controller to play Super Mario. The built in accelerometer is being used for jumping by using the y-axis while the left and right knobs are used to move the player backwards and forwards respectfully. The thematic of this design was to use a classic game to represent the controller for a classic video game, with the basic shape and layout of an Etch-A-Sketch being a prime example to try for this project. Some kinks have been noticed while constructing the controller that will be addressed in the final build.
