Prototype Review: LIMBO

I chose to do a low fidelity prototype of my controller for the game Limbo. It is based off of the "Maggot Eater" NPC from the game, which are usually represented in threes and eat the maggots off of the player's head. To play the game, the user rotates the right most tube to move the player character left and right and rotates the left most tube to control up and down movement. There is a photoresistor at the top of the latter that, when covered, allows the player to interact with objects in the game. The middle tube is supposed to have a microphone that activates the jump, but is not necessary for the prototype and is not included in this iteration. How could I make sturdier mounts for my sensors, especially the photoresistor? What decorations could I add that would give the controller more flare?
