Description:
The game controller is a bowl with four groups of copper tape strips around the perimeter as well as a metal ball covered in tin foil. When the metal ball rolls over a group of copper strips it bridges the cap between the two and completes a circuit which produces a keystroke. Each of the four groups of copper tape strips coincides with a different directional key for the game: W, A, S, and D. The ball itself represents Pacman and rolling Pacman in the physical world causes him to head in that direction in game creating a connection between the digital and physical worlds.
Questions:
How could I improve the speed and accuracy of the controller detecting inputs?
How should I house the controller with the board in a way that looks and feels sleek?
