Scaffolding Progress Review

Based on the critique received from the concepts I have provided, I have decided to go with the sword option as my game controller. However, as mentioned in the criticism, I will take away the usage of buttons on the controller for using inputs for the alternative controls. Instead I plan to utilize light sensors and the potentimetor for the controls that aren’t limited to the movement controls. The reason why I chose the sword concept for my game remote was that it not only let the user have more interaction with the world, but also be a much more fun experience compared to the two more stationary controller ideas presented before. With this in mind, I believe the sword would be a fun and overall successful controller.

What do you think? Do you think one of my previous concepts would translate better? If you were to design this sword, with Cris Tales gameplay in mind, what controls would you input?
