Progress Review

For my final design I am going with a pressure plate like dish to control the main characters in Super Mario. This version will be the classic Nintendo Entertainment system version so some 8 bit graphics are going to be seen, so when the player presses certain areas of the plate it will make the character walk/run depending on how hard, especially the vital up area because this will be the jump essentially. Mario also uses the famous fire plant and that will be link to the B button the CPE, I plan on possibly using a different power source as well. There will also be an accelerometer for the directions the player takes.

I plan on using some 3D printed materials to make the dish and probably purchase some buttons too. The container where this will be in isn’t gonna be too big, somewhere like a Switch size or smaller. The CPE will be under the dish and I’ll run the needed wire to the bottom.  How would I implement a Pressure passed system into the dish? Or should I keep it simple and just have the A button be the definitive jump?
