The game that I'm interested in creating an alternative controller to would be The Hanged Man, the fourth and final game in a horror rpg Strange Men series. You can find out more about the game here on Steam using this link: https://store.steampowered.com/app/749890/The_Hanged_Man/.
My motivation for working with this game would be wanting to bring about more immersion and suspense to the player as they progress through the captivating narrative being told by the game. The protagonist is guided by a friendly mouse, which is the main motif for my designs, as well as the actual representation of the hanged man tarot card. I wanted to invite inclusivity and participation by the player using sound and or light as well as motion to further immerse the player as the main character. I feel that this inclusion will increase the effect of the storytelling and create a more memorable experience with the game.
