Scaffolding: Unconventional Switch

Scaffolding: Unconventional Switch

This circuit is powered by Circuit Playground Express that is connected to a wall socket through a micro USB cable. The Playground has a positive red wire clamped to the volt side and a black ground wire clamped to the ground side with both going into the breadboard. Another red wire follows them and connects to a 1k resistor that is followed by a white LED. The LED has a black wire after it that runs to a notebook that connects to another black wire that is taped to the other side. Another black wire that comes from the breadboard is also connected to the notebook to complete the circuit. When the notebook is closed, the light turns on. When it is opened the light is turned off.
